Our youth need guidance, support, and positive outlets today more than ever before. At El Town Elite, we believe the position of mentor, teacher, or coach plays a pivotal role in the path a child takes in life. This is not a role we take lightly or for granted which has led to our mantra “Community Built, Family Strong”.
El Town Elite is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Our program is comprised of elementary through high school aged youth from our Greater Elmira, NY community who compete in the AAU Basketball circuit. In addition to dedicated training, we are committed to promoting individual confidence, sportsmanship, self-esteem, and leadership – valuable skills on and off the court. El Town strives to motivate each player to achieve their individual levels of success while creating love and excitement for basketball.
We will compete in tournaments throughout the northeast, and if the opportunity is earned, represent our community on the national level. We would appreciate your help in this year’s campaign. Although we conduct fundraisers, the cost of participation is more expensive than some may realize. Donations will help defray costs for gym time, provide scholarships for families that need them, purchase training equipment, etc.
As you consider donating, we ask that you not think of it as just another donation, but an investment in our youth. Your support of our youth boosts their opportunities to rise to the elite level on the court and in life. For such, we would be extremely grateful.
